Alan Robert Murray and Bub Asman accepted the statue for their work on the Clint Eastwood-directed film. They’re two-time Oscar winners and beat out several other top-tier candidates for the award, including Becky Sullivan and Andrew DeCristofaro for “Unbroken,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

But even that humble nod didn’t go over well with some at the ceremony. Twitchy.com reported that some views of the show noticed one actor — Jason Bateman — who seems to snub “American Sniper.”

An independent gauge of China’s manufacturing sector edged lower in November, suggesting an uptick in activity at state-run companies did not extend to smaller and privately-owned factories.
However, the figures suggest that the pace of Chinese investment in western economies may be slowing.
